Renting & booking
How do I book a rental?
Find a listing you like, choose your pick-up and return dates, and submit a booking request. The partner confirms availability, usually within a few hours, and you'll get an email as soon as it's confirmed.
Is my booking confirmed immediately?
Not quite — your request goes to the partner first so they can confirm the item is available for your dates. Most bookings are confirmed within a few hours; you'll be notified by email either way.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. You can cancel from your account before pick-up. Refund timing depends on how close to the pick-up date you cancel — check the listing's cancellation policy for specifics.
Where do I pick up and return the item?
Each listing shows a pickup location and, once your booking is confirmed, an exact map pin from the partner. You'll coordinate pick-up and return times directly with them.
Payments & fees
What does a booking cost?
You pay the listing's daily rate for the number of days you rent, plus a flat ₹99 service fee that covers platform support and buyer protection. There are no hidden charges.
How do partners get paid?
Partners receive their rental earnings, minus goChaarana Rentals' platform commission, once a booking is completed. Payouts are tracked from the partner dashboard.
What if the item isn't as described?
Contact us right away through the Help Center or your booking details page. Our team reviews every case and will help you resolve it with the partner.
Becoming a partner
How do I list something for rent?
Apply from the Become a Partner page with a few details about yourself. Once approved (usually within 24 hours), you'll get access to a partner dashboard where you can add listings with photos, pricing and availability.
What can I list?
Vehicles, camping and trekking gear, cameras, wedding and event decor, furniture, tools, sports equipment and more. Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live.
How much does it cost to list?
Listing is free. goChaarana Rentals takes a small commission only on bookings you actually earn from — there are no upfront or subscription fees.
Account & safety
Do I need an account to browse listings?
No — you can browse and search freely. You'll need a free account to book, save favourites, or apply as a partner.
How are listings and partners verified?
Our team reviews every new listing and partner application before anything goes live, checking photos, descriptions and pricing for accuracy.
How do I delete my account or data?
Reach out through the Contact page and our team will handle the request in line with our Privacy Policy.
